Terms of Purchase & Use

1. Course provider and contact
Modern Real Estate Investing is provided by Lawrence Moellersen, whose legal name is Lauritz Moellersen ("we," "us," or "our"). These terms cover the course website, supplied learning resources, and purchases of this course.

The course is intended for adults aged 18 or older who can enter into a contract. The purchase summary and these terms should be read before placing an order.
2. What your purchase includes
Modern Real Estate Investing is a self-paced educational course about buying, preparing, and managing your first residential rental, with a focus on U.S. real estate. It includes five modules, 20 video lessons, the Rental Property Deal Analyzer, the Rehab Estimate workbook, and the Residential Rental Furnishing Checklist. The course has approximately four hours and 17 minutes of video.
Property purchases, renovation work, financing, third-party software or services, individual deal reviews, and private coaching are not included. You need internet access, a compatible device and browser, and access to your account email. Workbooks require compatible spreadsheet software; Google Sheets copy links are also supplied. Videos are streamed unless a lesson expressly offers a download.
3. Price, payment, and launch
This is a one-time payment, not a subscription. The regular price is USD $390. The launch price is USD $290 from October 18 through October 31, 2026, using the $100 launch discount. The discount ends at 11:59 PM Eastern Time on October 31. The regular USD $390 price applies from November 1.
The applicable price, discount, any taxes, and the final payment total are shown at checkout before you pay. Payments are processed through Kajabi Payments. Save your order confirmation and receipt.
Course lessons become available on October 18, 2026 at 10:00 AM Pacific Time. Purchases made after that release receive access following successful payment and account setup. If a purchase is accepted before release, payment is taken at purchase and the lessons remain locked until release. Login or account setup instructions are sent to the email used at checkout.
4. Access duration and updates
We do not set a fixed expiry date for your course access. You can revisit the lessons while the course is provided. Your purchase does not include every future course or private service, and it does not guarantee that a particular hosting platform will operate forever.
We may correct errors and make reasonable course updates. If we permanently discontinue the course, we will, where practicable, give at least 30 days' notice and explain available replacement access or download options. Where we cannot provide promised paid benefits, we will provide an appropriate remedy consistent with your purchase and applicable consumer rights. Updates do not retrospectively remove mandatory rights.
5. Full 14-day refund
You may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of purchase. If course access begins later than purchase, the 14-day window begins when access starts. Email [email protected] with the email address used to buy and, if available, your order reference. No reason is required.
We aim to respond within two business days and initiate an approved refund within five business days. Refunds go to the original payment method; your bank or payment provider controls how quickly funds appear. Refunded course access will be revoked when the refund is processed.
This voluntary policy is additional to rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law, including remedies for faulty, misdescribed, or undelivered content. Watching a lesson does not by itself waive statutory rights. No blanket waiver of digital-content cancellation rights is required.
6. Email support
Email [email protected] for access issues, downloads, and general course questions. We aim to reply within two business days, Monday to Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays, using Eastern Time. This is a response target, not a guaranteed resolution time. Individual deal reviews and private coaching are outside the course.
7. Education and investment risk
The course is general education, not personalized investment, financial, legal, tax, lending, or real estate advice. It does not create an advisory, brokerage, agency, or fiduciary relationship. Consult appropriately qualified professionals for your own circumstances and local requirements.
Examples, estimates, and case studies illustrate decisions and methods. They do not promise actual costs, available financing, income, profit, or a particular result. Property investing involves risks, including losses, unexpected expenses, vacancies, regulation, and market changes. Independently check information before making property or financial decisions.
8. Your account and permitted use
Use accurate account information, protect your login details, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access. The course and supplied resources are for your own learning and investment planning. Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use them; ownership of the content does not transfer.
Do not share or sell account access; republish, distribute, resell, or publicly upload course materials; bypass access controls; or use the service unlawfully or abusively. These restrictions do not limit uses permitted by applicable law.
9. Comments and external services
Keep course comments relevant and respectful. Do not post confidential tenant, property, or other people's information. You retain rights in your contributions and permit them to be displayed in the course discussion you submit them to. This does not authorize using your name, image, or comment as a marketing testimonial.
External services have their own terms, costs, and privacy practices. Mentioning a service does not guarantee its availability or suitability. Any material affiliate relationship will be disclosed with the relevant recommendation.
10. Problems, complaints, and changes
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address serious misuse, unauthorized access, or a security risk. Where practicable, we will explain the issue and allow an opportunity to resolve it. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility or remedies where the law prohibits doing so, including liability for fraud or mandatory consumer protections.
Send complaints to [email protected]. This does not prevent you from exercising legal rights or contacting an appropriate regulator or dispute-resolution body. Mandatory protections that apply where you live remain available; these terms do not impose forced arbitration or waive court rights.
The terms available when you purchase govern that purchase, subject to mandatory law. We will communicate material changes affecting existing buyers and seek agreement where required. See our Privacy Policy for information about personal data.
